Prerequisites

What are the requirements to subscribe to the Medyx service?

  • An IOS (Apple) or Android smart device.
  • The iPhone models for which we guarantee our services are those supported by Apple, available on this Link.
  • An iOS 9/Android 4.0 operating system or higher.
  • A SAFARI or Chrome browser.
  • A basic internet package including a Wi-Fi internet connection (wireless internet network).
  • If you need more information about the requirements and how to set them up, check out the following questions, otherwise go to the “Free download and subscription” category.

How do I update my iOS operating system?

  • Open your device settings;
  • Choose “General,” then “Software Update.” A message appears if an update is available;
  • Follow the instructions to download and install the new iOS version.

How do I download the Medyx application?

You can download the Medyx application at any time via the Appstore (iOS) or the Playstore (Android) or also via the links at the bottom of the page of the site.

How do I change branches at RAMQ?

Forms 2404 and 2788 will be sent to you via the website for printing and signing. Once this step is complete, all you have to do is access the Medyx website in the My Account section by entering your username and password and drag and drop your file into the square indicated. If you ever prefer to send us the signed forms by mail, you can do so by mailing the two forms (3 pages) to the following address: Médyx Inc., Head Office, CP143, St-Bruno-de-Montarville, Qc., J3V4P8. Please note that the agency requires a minimum of 3 working weeks to change agencies. This step is therefore mandatory and required within 48 hours of receiving the forms by email.

How do I change my package?

You can change your package at any time by opening the www.medyx.com website and clicking consecutively on the following buttons: “Log in”, “My account”, “Choose package”.

How do I permanently or temporarily unsubscribe from the Medyx service?

If you wish to unsubscribe temporarily for a minimum of two months or more or permanently, you can change your subscription at any time by opening the www.medyx.com website and clicking consecutively on the following buttons: “Log in”, “My account”, “My account”, “See details in the package section” and “Cancel”. However, please note that there will be no refund for the current period already paid and that the temporary stop is only applicable once on the monthly package.

How do I set up a new establishment and create an act?

Setting up the establishment:

  • Click on the + at the bottom right of the screen and click on “New act”
  • Click on establishment to bring up the “Places” window
  • Search for your establishment in the magnifying glass and add it to favorites by clicking on the heart, enter the required information and the method of remuneration (mixed or fee-for-service)
  • Click on the establishment you just added so that it appears in your box

Creation of an act:

  • Click on the + at the bottom right of the screen and click on “New act”
  • Enter the requested information in the form
  • Click on “Wait” if you are missing information or “Send” if the box is ready to be sent to the RAMQ.

How do I search for an old document, a mixed or fixed form?

Open the application, click on the search icon. By default, only today's actions will appear. For a more extensive search, click on the magnifying glass at the top right and select your type of billing, the desired date range and the desired status then press fine at the top right.

How do I correct/modify or complete an act?

From the search menu, find the act to correct/modify or complete and click on the blue bar of the latter. The latter will appear and you can make the required changes only if the status is pending. If the status is sent or in process it will be impossible for you to make the changes directly on the box. You must then send a message to Medyx using the Message icon and indicating the required changes, the NAM and the date on the box. Medyx will do the necessary follow-ups with the RAMQ.

How to follow up on a former patient without re-entering the NAM?

From the search menu, find the patient's act in question for which you want to follow up and click the follow-up button. A new card with the same patient information will appear as of today and you can fill in the rest of the required fields. If the status is sent or in process it will be impossible for you to make the changes directly on the box. You should then send a message to Medyx using the Message icon and indicating the required changes, the NAM and the box date. Medyx will do the necessary follow-ups with the RAMQ.

How do I cancel an act?

From the search menu, find the patient's act in question for which you want to cancel the card and click the cancel button. This operation is only possible if the status is pending or sent. If the card is being processed or even paid for, it will be impossible for you to cancel the card because it has already been sent to the RAMQ. You should then send a message to Medyx using the Message icon and indicating the required changes, the NAM and the box date. Medyx will do the necessary follow-ups with the RAMQ.

How do I charge for mixed compensation?

  • In the application, click on the + at the bottom right of the screen and click on “Mixed”
  • Select “AM” or “PM” according to the periods worked and the associated code in “code”
  • You can change other details of the perdiem in “Details”
  • You can generate the pdf directly by clicking on the button of the same name.

How to invoice medical-administrative tasks?

Open the application, click on the Flat rate icon and enter all the required fields by clicking on them and press wait if some information is missing or send if everything is entered and the form is ready to be sent to the RAMQ, To generate the pdf immediately, click on pdf and click on the center icon at the bottom to send by email to the address of your choice.

How do I get mixed or fixed forms signed by the head of department?

Open the application, click on the Package icon and choose the period to be approved by clicking on the period bar at the top. Then click on the pdf button at the bottom center. The completed form will appear on your screen. To send it to your email or that of your department head, click on the center icon at the bottom, choose send by email and enter the email address of your choice. The selected person will receive the email to open the form, print it, sign it and give it to you for archiving.

What reports are available and how do I access them?

The available reports are the list of acts, mixed and fixed forms, the monthly statuses of the acts and the income by period.

Do I have a time limit for billing?

According to the regulations of the Régie, you have three months to invoice your actions, mixed and lump-sum remuneration.

How is my billing processed?

We guarantee that your billing will be fully processed within 7 working days after it is sent to our central office, 365 days a year. Processing includes sending requests in accordance with the RAMQ, requests for additional information to you if some requests are non-compliant, and tracking and re-invoicing (if applicable) requests refused by the RAMQ.

How can I see the evolution of the status of each card of acts?

The status of the box is displayed at the top right corner of the box. The possible statuses are: pending, sent (to our central office), to be corrected, processed (by the RAMQ), paid or canceled.

When will I get paid?

The payment of the agency will be made directly into your account approximately 3 to 5 weeks after sending your act or form to be processed by our central office.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password at any time by opening the www.medyx.com website and by clicking on the following buttons consecutively: “Log In”, “My Account”, “View/Edit”, and then change your password completely at the bottom of the page by completing the “New Password” and “New Password Confirmation” fields.

What should I do if I accidentally deleted the application?

Don't worry, all your data is backed up even if you delete your application. You can re-download it at any time via the Appstore (iOS) or the Playstore (Android) by searching for “Medyx” and also via the links at the bottom of the page of the site. All you have to do is reconnect with your identifiers afterwards.

How do I get and take advantage of promotional codes?

Each reference you make to us that signs up for a Medyx package entitles you to a discount on the price of your subscription. Ask Medyx for more information.

Can medyx.com be viewed on the computer?

Yes, by accessing the medyx.com website and entering your user ID and password, you can access your data on the computer.
